Court suspends Colts owner's driver's license for one year …

Indianapolis, IN, United States (4E Sports) Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay needs a driver for one year after his license was suspended by a Hamilton County court for driving while intoxicated.

Police and prosecutors have declined to talk about the case but court documents revealed the suspension began May 27.

Irsay refused a blood test after he was arrested March 16, while driving in Carmel.

Indiana law mandates a one-year driver s license suspension for such a refusal. Carmel police later obtained a warrant ordering Irsay to submit to a blood draw following his arrest. A nurse took two vials of blood.

Irsay is charged with two misdemeanor counts of impaired driving. His initial hearing is June 19.
