The Cicero features composite deck panels to improve stability as well as hybrid exhaust gas scrubbers fitted for ECA operations. It will operate via the ports of Emden, Germany; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Davisville, Rhode Island; Jacksonville, Florida; Houston, Texas; and Veracruz, Mexico. Siem Car Carriers is a subsidiary of Cayman Island-registered group Siem Industries, which also owns offshore drilling firms Wilrig and Transocean, subsea specialist Subsea 7, reefer shipping business Star Reefers and passenger cruise firm Norwegian Cruise Line.
