Road Transport Corporation conductor suspended for FB post on CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

HYDERABAD: For a Facebook post criticizing chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, a TSRTC bus conductor has been suspended. D Sanjeev , conductor of Nizamabad-1 depot, was charged with insubordination. The decision to suspend him was taken after a preliminary inquiry report was submitted on October 24.

The conductor was said to have put up a FB post, saying funds for the corporation had not been released and promises made to employees not fulfilled.

It was found during probe that he also criticised chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The conductor had presented himself before an official for an inquiry, subsequent to which he was suspended. The depot manager said in the suspension order, “There is a mechanism in the corpora tion to redress grievances of employees.

But without availing such a mechanism, D Sanjeev posted comments on Facebook by tarnishing the image of the corporation.”

The conductor, D Sanjeev’s Facebook posts were critical of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy , transport minister M Mahendar Reddy and officials of TSRTC.

Sanjeev has been told that he need not attend the depotoffice during the period of suspension and he will be paid subsistence allowance at half the rate of pay and allowance during the period of suspension.
