It’s fairly common knowledge by now that Cargo is one of Bristol’s favourite foodie hotspots. The many fantastic restaurants housed within the mini village of shipping containers have received plenty of media attention, not just locally but across the UK. There’s so much choice on offer that lots of people find themselves aimlessly wandering around the Harbourside development, unsure where to settle.

So with such an array of fantastic food, wouldn’t it be great if we could sample the best dishes from a selection of the very finest eateries there? Well now we can thanks to Wriggle, the foodie guide specialists, who have just launched two food tours there – one for meat-eaters and one for vegetarians.

There’s plenty of choice at Cargo

The non-vegetarian route involves stops at seven of Cargo’s favourite offerings while the veggie option features six. A wriggle spokesperson said: “Wriggle have teamed up with some of our favourite eateries at the Cargo containers at Wapping Wharf to create a mini food tour.

“Choosing between a meat or vegetarian option, this new concept allows people to try a little something from multiple vendors rather than sitting down to one meal.” The tour will be available tomorrow (Sunday, April 15), with plans to have it run throughout the week in the future.
