Transport Committee calls for industry input into new freight and Brexit inquiry

The Transport Committee is calling on the freight industry to contribute to its inquiry into the potential impact of Brexit on the sector.

Launching the inquiry this week, the Transport Committee chair, Lilian Greenwood MP, said: “While the agreement of a transitional period to December 2020 is welcome, there remains a great deal of uncertainty for UK freight operators and their customers. “The implications of Brexit will vary across freight modes and types of freight.
