Would-be ATM Thieves Drive Truck Through Front of Texas Drugstore

Three individuals are suspected of using a truck to ram through the front doors of a CVS pharmacy in Cibolo, Texas - in the San Antonio metro area - on Wednesday, February 13, in a botched attempt to steal an ATM from the store.

According to the Cibolo Police Department, the truck was captured on surveillance footage just before 5.30 am.

Once the truck plowed through the front of the building, two men ran into the store and tried to steal the automated teller machine.

"While the attempt was unsuccessful, significant damage was done to the entrance area, which is currently being repaired. The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are following up on leads," police said on Facebook.

Police said the truck was found but that the owner was not considered a suspect at the time of writing.
