Two people rescued after crash in Peterborough taken to hospital

The emergency services were called to Rectory Gardens shortly after 1pm following the two car collision. Two people were rescued by firefighters then taken to hospital by ambulance. Their injuries were not believed to be serious, police said.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers and firefighters attended the scene.

There were no reported injuries and the road was closed while the vehicle was recovered from the scene.”
