Motorcyclist in 'life threatening' condition after horror crash with pickup truck

A motorcyclist has been left with life threating injuries after colliding with a pickup truck on an East Yorkshire road. The crash, which involved a grey Ford Ranger pickup and silver Triumph Street Triper motorbike, occurred in the A166 at Garrowby Hill Top on Thursday. Police asked drivers to avoid the area as the road remain closed for around three hours while officers dealt with the incident.

The motorcyclist remains in a serious condition in hospital. Meanwhile, Humberside Police have released a statement asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward. The statement read: "We're investigating the circumstances of a collision between a motorbike and a pick-up truck on the A166 at Garrowby Hill Top yesterday.

"Sadly, the motorcyclist has suffered life threatening injuries and remains in hospital in a serious condition.
