Truck driver accidentally spills 12,000 litres of MILK on a highway after crashing tanker

A clean up is under way in NSW's south after a truck carrying 48,000 litres of milk crashed overnight.

Emergency services are mopping up the 12,000 litres that spilled from the B-double refrigerated milk tanker near Corowa on Friday night.

The truck was travelling on Freyers Road when it crashed around 10.15pm.

The driver - a 63-year-old-man - wasn't injured in the crash, but a vehicle defect notice was issued for the truck and two trailers.
