China-Europe cargo trains via Xinjiang see record high

(MENAFN) According to China Railway Urumqi Group Co. Ltd, a record number of 9,679 inbound and outbound China-Europe cargo trains passed through northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous area in 2020. The number of trains going through Alataw Pass hit 5,027 in 2020, increased 41.8 percent year on year, while those through Horgos Port hit 4,652, augmented 37 percent year on year.
