Man charged after motorcyclist died in horror crash with lorry on Glasgow road
A MAN has been charged after a motorcyclist died in a crash with a lorry on a Glasgow road.
A male motorcyclist, 62, passed away in the smash, which happened on Parkhouse Road, near the junction with Nitshill Road on August 29, last year.
Police have charged a 41-year-old man following the fatal road smash in the south side of the city.
The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
It’s understood that the motorcyclist died at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal road traffic crash in Glasgow.
“A 62-year-old male motorcyclist died in the crash, which happened on Parkhouse Road near the junction with Nitshill Road on Saturday, 29 August, 2020.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.”
