Motorcyclist Killed Near Brown Field in Crash with Semi-Truck Hauling Dirt
A motorcyclist was killed Thursday in a collision with a big rig near Brown Field Municipal Airport. The fatal crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. in front of a driveway in the 7100 block of Otay Mesa Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim, whose identity was not immediately available, died at the scene, the CHP reported.

According to OnScene.TV, a male driver of a semi-truck hauling two dirt hauling trailers said he was eastbound on Otay Mesa Road and making a left turn onto the construction site when the male motorcyclist suddenly appeared in front of him.
The male motorcyclist was westbound and impacted the front of the semi-truck, and was killed upon impact.
His speed was unknown.
