Englewood police searching for truck used in fatal hit-and-run

Englewood police are searching for a pickup truck that they believe was used in the hit-and-run killing of a pedestrian overnight. Police say the pedestrian was struck and killed in the 3100 block of South Broadway at 12:22 a.m. Saturday.

Police have not said who the victim was. Officers are looking for a silver or white Dodge pickup truck with damage to the front driver’s side. It’s possible the truck has an extended cab.

Police say it also has a truck bed cover, tinted windows, silver bumper, silver or black tailgate and an American flag attached to the antenna.

The vehicle’s license plate number and owner are not known.

Anyone who sees the truck is asked to call the Englewood Police Department at 303-761-7410.
