GLS buys Canadian rival Rosenau Transport for £210m

Royal Mail’s international courier business is to expand its presence in North America after striking a deal to buy the Canadian logistics group Rosenau Transport for GBP210.5 million.

GLS already has operations along the east coast of Canada having bought the parcel delivery group Dicom for about GBP214 million three years ago.

Rosenau, which is still owned and run by the Rosenau family, predominantly operates down the west coast.
