Yenigun: “France has a key role in our growth plans in Europe”
Ford Otosan General Manager Haydar Yenigun said that they are proud to take a step in an important organization such as Solutrans 2021 in France, which is Europe’s second largest heavy commercial market after Germany.
“As Ford Otosan, we continue to break new ground in the automotive industry and write a worldwide success story with our heavy commercial vehicle brand Ford Trucks for more than half a century. At the point where our truck production journey has reached today, we operate in more than 40 countries thanks to our engineering competencies and R&D power.
Winning the 2019 International Truck of the Year (ITOY) award, the F-MAX continues to be one of the most important indicators of the point reached by our production power, engineering capabilities, design, technology and vehicle development skills. While representing Ford’s truck business globally, we continue our strategic growth plans in Europe without slowing down despite the negative effects of the pandemic. After the ITOY award, we had delayed our growth plans due to the high demand from Europe for the F-MAX.
In this direction, we have completed our structuring in Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg, which are among the markets where we see high demand, following the Polish, Lithuanian, Portuguese and Spanish markets. In the past weeks, we stepped into Germany, Europe’s largest heavy commercial vehicle market. Now, we are proud to take a step with our distributor F-Trucks France to France, Europe’s 2nd largest heavy commercial market, which has a key role in Ford Trucks’ growth plans.”
